BACKUP BOOST CONVERTER > INSTALLATION



1. INSTALL BACKUP BOOST CONVERTER


    A219791E01

  1. Install the backup boost converter with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    13 N*m{ 133 kgf*cm , 10 ft.*lbf }

    NOTICE:
    Tighten the bolts in the sequence order shown in the illustration to install the backup boost converter.

  1. Connect the connector and engage the lock lever.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 BATTERY CARRIER

  1. Install the No. 2 battery carrier with the 3 bolts.

    Torque:
    17 N*m{ 75 kgf*cm , 13 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the harness clamp.



3. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

  1. Install the battery tray.



4. INSTALL BATTERY

  1. Install the battery onto the vehicle.

  1. Install the battery clamp with the 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    3.5 N*m{ 36 kgf*cm , 35 in.*lbf }

  1. Connect the cable to the battery terminal.

    Torque:
    5.0 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm , 43 in.*lbf }
